A lamp lit daily at home during the Rahu period immediately relieves suffering. (Those who are not able to do the puja in the morning or 6 to 7 in the evening for those who are unable to do the puja) The puja should be done only with the image of the Jai Prathyankara Peedam, where Guru and Ambal are together. Pour water into an urn or anvil, add turmeric powder and pile neem on it.

Place seedless dates in a small bowl and add two drops of honey. Put the drink in one tumbler and water in the other tumbler. Apart from stainless steel and plastic, brass, copper, and silver can be used for puja.

Light two Agalvilka Deepams in pure ghee with Jai Deivashakti and Jai Sarvamangala oil. Recite the mantras given below with your wish in mind.

1. Jai Well done, Guru Hail Guruve companion: 21 times.

2. Om gam ganapataye namaha: 16 times

3. Jaibratyangare! Jayjay Pratyangare! ! : 27 times

4. Jaibratyangarai Vidmahe Bhaktapriyai Thimahi Tanno Devi Prajodayat: 9 times

5. Chant Jai Prathyankara 110 Praise: 6 times

Say the prayer and perform neivedyam with dates, potion and water. Drink the potion after the pooja is over. The casket of dates and water should be kept for one night at the place where the pooja is performed. Next morning, sprinkle the yellowish water in the urn around the house with neem leaves.

Dates and water should be taken and consumed before Rahu Kalam or before the time of pooja. Follow the same routine daily.

When lit in pure good oil with Jai Deivashakti Oil and Jai Sarvamangala Oil, the lit lamp burns and shines, it drives away the evil spirits like Kandriushti, Billi, Sooniyam, Avel, removing Vastu Doshas, creating Lakshmi Kadaksha, removes obstacles in life and makes the journey of life sweet.
